WHO IS MAN UP and GO?
Man Up and Go believes that children benefit in every measurable way by the presence of a loving, committed father in the home. We are men and women who see fatherlessness as a scourge against humanity and we're doing what we can to bring awareness to the plight of over 700 million children worldwide who will go to bed tonight without a father in the home. We have a strategy in place to help significantly reduce this number, which is outlined HERE. Man Up and Go is the vision of Roger Gibson, who adopted his daughter Zoe from Ethiopia in 2010. Their story has been chronicled in the film, Man Up and Go, the trailer of which may be viewed HERE.

WHERE IS MAN UP LOCATED?
Man Up and Go is a registered 501(c)3 organization, filed in the state of Missouri. But we are much more than a physical location – we are men, husbands, fathers, brothers, women, wives, mothers, and sisters from all across the world who’ve banded together for a common purpose: to make the name of Jesus famous and fight fatherlessness as best we know how. Man Up and Go has Executive Leadership members in Springfield (MO) and Clearwater (FL), and Board Members from Texas and Illinois.
ARE THESE TRIPS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes. As mentioned above, Man Up and Go is a registered 501(c)3 with tax exempt status (Charter #N01399329). You may view our designation as a not-for-profit corporation in good standing with the state of Missouri HERE.
I CANNOT GO ON A TRIP BUT WANT TO GIVE. CAN I DO THIS?
Absolutely! If you are not going on a trip but would like to help someone else go or give to one of our ministry partners in Africa, you may give your tax deductible gift by clicking the donate button below and paying securely with your credit or debit card.
ARE THESE TRIPS FOR MEN ONLY?
Absolutely not! While our desire is to “get men in the game,” women play a crucial role in connecting with orphaned girls and widows during our time in Africa. We like to have at least one woman for every two men partnering with us in serving orphans and widows on these trips.
WILL THERE BE FUNDRAISING OR SCHOLARSHIPS?
We will encourage, promote, and give ideas for fundraising, but you will be responsible for raising the funds to go on this trip. Trust us: if God is calling you to Africa to help orphans, He will make a way. Scholarships may be awarded but please do not count on this.
